September 2004 Archives
"Have you seen Tevya recently?" When Sarah asked that question this afternoon we both realized that one of our cats is missing. We verified that he isn't in our house. I searched the surrounding yards to no avail.
Tevya is a chicken of a cat. When Sarah first saw him and his sister at the animal shelter, she thought there was only one cat in the cage. Tevya was hiding under his sister.
He is also a very curious cat. Curiosity can be detrimental to a cat, or so I've heard. A good portion of the nine years he lived in our house was spent longing to go outside. He finally got his wish.
The suburbs can be a tough place for a cat. I like to think he is chasing small animals and freeloading on other cats' food, but I fear he is in a corner somewhere curled up in a scaredy ball afraid of everything that moves or makes noise.

This weekend produced too many good photos to post them all here. Here's a slideshow instead.

What image is Kerry trying to present?
Sarah found this gem browsing public photos at flickr.com. Quite a place, that flickr.
