I had to console Zoe tonight after I told her that Vince Young won't always play for the Longhorns. Sarah helped out by saying that he has dreamed of playing in the NFL since he was a kid. Zoe was also comforted when I told her how much money Vince will make in the pros.

I explained the NFL draft system - how it stinks that the best players have to play for the worst teams. If he has to play for a bad team, Zoe wants it to be the Texans so he can be near home. She said that whatever team he ends up on, she will cheer for them unless they are playing the Longhorns -- I must have not fully clarified that pros don't play college teams.

I hope Zoe doesn't hear about the Heisman.
